MID YEAR SIGNEES

DL Lyman Sunia-Faoliu

These three prospects signed with Washington State on the first day of the mid year junior college signing period, December 19th. All three are currently enrolled and will participate in spring football.

Ivan McLennan
Linebacker, 6-3, 220 pounds, El Camino Junior College (Torrance, Calif.)
91 Overall - Other offers from Oregon, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and Nevada
Recruiter: Dennis Simmons

McLennan, who graduated from Leuzinger High School in 2011, committed to Washington State on June 20th and stuck with the Cougars despite offers from Oregon, Arkansas, Miami and Texas A&M this past fall. 247Sports rated McLennan a 91 overall, 26th JUCO prospect in the class of 2013 and the No. 2 JUCO outside linebacker in the 2013 class. McLennan has three years to play two seasons for the Cougars after playing two seasons at El Camino.

Lyman Sunia-Faoliu
Defensive End, 6-2, 275 pounds, College of San Mateo (San Mateo, Calif.)
83 Overall - Other offers from Maryland, Oregon State, Fresno State, SJSU, UNLV, Utah State, Western Michigan.
Recruiter: Eric Russell

Sunia-Faoliu visited Washington State during the Apple Cup and the wild victory itself was enough to win the JUCO transfer over. He has a former College of San Mateo teammate on the Cougars squad in Justin Sagote, as well as friends Toni Pole and Darryl Paulo. Ranked by 247Sports as the No 125 JUCO prospect in the 2013 class, the Cougars like the 6-foot-2, 275 pound prospect at defensive end. Sunia-Faoliu has two years to play two seasons.

Jacob Seydel
Offensive Tackle, 6-6 285 pounds, Riverside Community College (Riverside, Calif.)
82 Overall - Other offers from Colorado State, Hawaii, Nevada, Florida International and New Mexico State.
Recruiter: Clay McGuire

After a year at Riverside, Seydel actually signed with UCLA after Signing Day last year, but returned to Riverside after a couple weeks on campus. The Cougs stuck with Seydel and he committed after an official visit in December. WSU likes him at offensive tackle. Seydel has three years to play two seasons.

2012 GRAYSHIRTS

These two prospects are grayshirt holdovers from the 2012 recruiting class. Their enrollment at Washington State was delayed until this January, therefore their scholarship counts toward the 2013 recruiting class.

Robert Lewis
Wide Receiver, 5-10 160 pounds, South East High School (South Gate, Calif.)

BJ Salmonson
Offensive Tackle, 6-5 290 pounds, Nooksack Valley High School (Everson, Wash.)
